The Road to The Reading Stage

Hi, I'm Lorie Medina, a Texas certified teacher with 25 years of teaching experience. After 18 years of specializing in online education for elementary students, I witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm my students had for Reader's Theater. After their first performance, they eagerly asked when we could do it again. This experience highlighted the benefits of engaging students in read-alouds and exploring new stories together.

 

Inspired by their passion, I decided to start offering Reader's Theater classes online so that every student has the chance to participate in this valuable experience, improving their reading abilities and building their confidence. ​I am excited to collaborate with students and foster a passion for reading as we explore amazing stories and books together.
